News Cast Review 11/21/14
This newscast was something else. We mad a lot of mistakes to the point we had to film it twice and we still couldn't send out the video to the school. I was floor director and I think I did an okay job I did make one mistake though in the first shooting of the newscast I didn't tell camera one in time to face the weather. In the first newscast we all mad a lot of mistakes. We laughed alot so we couldn't get much done. The light fell too over Emory's head but that's not really our fault. But then again we still laughed.

News Cast Review 11/19/14
I thought personally that we did good enough to post our last newscast. We only had a few mistakes in the whole newscast along with a few technical difficulties. During the weather we has a problem for like ten seconds getting the screen up. Then we had a few problems with the green screen. We could have just edited the newscast a little bit and we would have been good to post it. We also sometimes laugh when we make a mistake so we should work on stuff like that.

Film Review #2 11/14/14
The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence is an old western black and white movie. I'm not a real big fan of most older movies or even most black and white films because I like color but I did really like this one. The movie takes place out west say around mid USA. The time is around the late 19th century and it pretty much has anything that a great movie has to offer. The main character Ransom Stoddard's horse buggy gets attacked by the most ruthless criminal around, Liberty Valence. He awakes in the care of a grown woman named Hallie. Hallie is an average waitress at the town saloon. Tom Doniphon is the cowboy of the town who can defeat almost any criminal in a showdown, and he meets Stoddard and they start to have disagreements. Stoddard while trying to get back on his feet and back home is trying to at the same time defeat Liberty Valence. Once they finally have their show down, Valence shoot Stoddard while wounded he fires back and "kills" Valence. What Stoddard doesn't know is that he didn't kill Liberty Valence. Tom did. Tom was standing in an alley way by the scene and shot Valence at the exact same time. Tom's bullet hit valence and stoddards shot missed. The town then awards stoddard for donophins work. Doniphon and Stoddard become friends and Stoddard moves back home all is well ends well. What i thought of this movie is that is was really a good way of showing what the old west was like. It wasn't just people drinking at the saloon and shooting guns. They were close in their towns and communitys. They also fought for themselves, because their wasn't really any government other than the town sheriff. I think this was a great movie all around and deserves its spot on the top 250.

October 3rd Newscast
I think we had an overall all great newscast last Thursday.
The anchors nailed it and I think I did a pretty good job on the weather.
We still have to fix some of the little things though like our camera
angles and looking up while reading every once and awhile. I even could
do a little bit better of a job with the weather forecast. I should do
more pre-newscast work with the weather so we don't have to cram everything
last minute. We have to find a way to
use that new app without making beeping noises during the newscast. Nate also had a problem with fading me in and
out during the weather I appeared in the beginning and then I just sort of disappear
at the end.

Section 3 News Cast Review
I personally think we have been doing a great job with the news cast. I'm proud of our class because we were the first news team to send out a newscast to the whole school. I think I could do a lot better with the weather. I should make more eye contact with the camera, prepare a better script before the newscast. I should take my hand of the green screen more. We don't always need to use the weather radar if for say there is no precipitation. I think as a class we need to be a little bit more organized with the cameras so we avoid bad angles. Also I think the anchors can look up more.
